Plum Wine

Barbara Jefferson, an English teacher in Japan during the Vietnam war, receives a case of homemade plum wine from her Japanese mentor after his death by cancer. The rice paper wrapping around the wine contains secrets about the man`s life, and Barbara finds herself caught up in a relationship with a potter and drawn into the horrors of Hiroshima.
